Fender Contemporary Stratocaster electric guitar, made in Japan, circa 1985; Body: candy apple red finish, a few very light surface marks otherwise excellent for age; Neck: maple, Fretboard: maple; Frets: excellent ; Electrics: all working; Hardware: excellent ; Case: generic oblong flight type hard case, robust and in excellent condition ; Weight: 3.99kg; Overall condition: excellent
For a guitar that is approximately 40 years old it’s an amazing condition. There seems to be two extra holes on the Pick guard with no evidence that it has penetrated the wood. Possibly a replacement pick guard. It is nicely set up with a low action and it plays wonderfully.
